We wanted to share some Delta credit card updates with you. Firstly, and best of all, Delta offers have increased. To all of you waiting for that to happen, now is the time to pull the lever on an application. You do have some time if you are working on another card though, these offers expire 8/2/23. Alex lives near a Delta hub so her plan is to get a Delta Business Platinum before this offer expires.
American Express has announced a new perk, called TakeOff 15. This means that Delta cardholders will now get 15% off award bookings. If you can combine that with Delta Flash Sales, you should be able to find some good deals!
All you need to do is:
You can see the results below that I got from searching for a trip to visit Alex. Each level of booking shows that 15% discount.
To be honest, Delta doesn’t have the best award redemptions. But occasionally, I find a great flash sale in business class to London. I would totally take it now that I can get a 15% discount when those two storms collide.
Delta is a transfer partner of American Express Membership Rewards, so if you can find a good redemption, it is worth transferring some points to Delta. And certainly, if you live near a Delta hub, you will want to take advantage of these welcome offers—just remember to take into account your 5/24 status! Will you be taking advantage of these Delta credit card updates?
