This airport lounge geek is excited that the first Chase Sapphire Lounge by the Club in the U.S. opens May 16th in Boston. Even better, I have an award flight through Boston soon! I can’t wait to check it out! Previously, one opened in Hong Kong. The list of projected Chase Sapphire Lounges includes:
We’ve always said the Chase Sapphire Preferred card is our favorite beginner card. However, that card won’t get you access to this lounge. 😩 For us lounge geeks, it will be better to hold the Chase Sapphire Reserve card, which allows access, but you need to show your Priority Pass card also. You may bring in 2 guests for free.
Priority Pass holders from all cards will receive one free entry to a Sapphire Lounge per calendar year. For every visit after the first, you’ll pay a fee of $75.
Like most premium lounges, you will receive high-speed Wi-Fi, curated craft cocktails, and seasonal menus. A comfortable work and rest space all make your airport experience more enjoyable. It is a large space at almost 12,000 square feet and includes two wellness areas with anti-gravity massagers—nice! Want to take a shower there? They have it!
I have been looking forward to the opening of another type of airport lounge. The news that the Chase Sapphire Lounge is opening in Boston was met with disappointment that it won’t be easy for me to enter one. Guess it is time for me to product change to the Reserve card once they open more lounges! Let us know if you use the one in Boston—we’d love to know your thoughts!
